"We had three main runners who were contracted to work with us ever day of the shoot, and we had a pool of 20-30 other runners who had agreed to do a few days each of voluntary work. Luke was a part of that pool of runners, but he stood out a mile to the point where crew members and HODs kept asking me to bring him in for extra days, and the producers and some others assumed he was part of the core team and were looking for him on the days he wasn’t there. He’s extremely reliable, efficient and enthusiastic. He’s always smiling and lifting the mood and he says yes to anything and everything thrown his way. He’s not afraid of getting his hands dirty and mucked right in ensuring that every member of crew had everything they needed and more. He has a lot of initiative and a wide understanding of everything going on around him. A real pleasure to work with as always and we’ll 100% get him back again."
